When they ran into a snag with their second investment property (something about a zoning issue, if I remember right), the personal connection they had with their banker saved them a ton of hassle.

Also remember the time these returns will take to amend along with the possibility of opening up audit periods/red flags with the IRS due to amendments.Doing this yourself on turbo tax likely won't be your best bet considering all of the details.

I forgot to add... always remember the saying "Location, Location, Location..." .

Whats funny is 20 years ago my net worth was negative and I would eat out all the time, now I have a few bucks in my pocket and I cannot remember the last time we went out to eat that was not a special occassion. :) .
