Cultural scene is strong, multiple festivals and several stages that bring major Broadway productions, dance festivals etc.

But a halt on events, concerts and festivals, along with the fact that many of the city’s office workers have shifted to remote work at home, have all taken a toll.

My highest grossing home is in Indio and will do about 200k this year and 230-250k next year when all the music festivals are back.

I strongly recommend joining your local REI group and attending the meetups religiously.

Back in February, I moved from Denver, Colorado to Portland, Oregon for my first mechanical engineering job out of college and have been saving religiously since starting with the plan of getting a place to househack.

Another attorney we have hired in the past before he retired religiously would preach "NEVER let your residents perform ANY tasks or labor at the property".
