All great responses guys and as a newcomer it's great to hear people who have been at it for quite some time, still talking about their "job" with so much enjoyment.And even when I say to myself, ok tonight is relax night, I still always find myself back on the laptop researching something to do with real estate investing.I guess to counter act my question.

Where do you want to be in 5-10-25 years ;)edit: how much time do you have available for real estate investing weekly and would you rather have your hands on everything (flipping can be more profitable than rentals and needs a lot of your time and energy) or would you prefer to sit back and relax while the property managers are working for you?

The landlord has currently been renting to more than 1 tenant for the long term (like 14 years), but that being said he doesn't run it like a business and sounds very relaxed to a fault.
