However, even though it would seem to a reasonable person that an investor wouldnt reject an offer because of a $500-$1000 fee only to end up with the property as an reo and have to take $30-$40k less six months later, I see it happen over and over again.

I keep resubmitting my offers every 30 days until either I get the house, or someone else does.I've had banks reject my offer with no counter, and then made a lower offer 30 days later and they accept it.Steph

I counter at 62k with the comps but the bank rejects sticking to 67k (they said it had something to do with a reverse mortgage...blah blah blah).
