But as long as its not directly in the flight path, it will be okay. 

Does anyone have any experience with furnished mid term rentals?

I suspect even the banks who are aggressively expanding are doing so merely to sure up their geographical presence  to in order to expand their customer base but will then pull back on their branch numbers.Unless there is significant term remaining on the lease, there are other retail concepts that would be deemed more marketable.

just double checked my lender is now 80% LTV for short term rentals only 85% for long term rentals

That's a long way to go, but a huge hit to anyone that bought with intending to re-fi in the short term from 2023 to today.
