I guess this concept seems a little foreign to me but I'm open to it.I mean people aren't really embarrassed to say the met on match.com anymore so why should RE investing be any different?

Thanks Thuan I will admit I almost felt embarrassed making that offer but I was told by a local mentor that if most of your offers dont get accepted you know youre on the right track.

Often, they have prepared a BPO and occasionally a high BPO to ensure they get the listing and following that BPO with a low-ball offer can embarrass the agent so they may not want to present it.

I'm embarrassed to say that it took me 3 months and 6 days to get this house ready, but life has been busy and the flip has been on the back burner.Luckily the PO had done a complete renovation in 2007-08..

I get to the Hyatt, apparently, after paying and confirming and then calling back to re-confirm, they said I never did.....That was an embarrassing blow.

@Joel Owens - Yes it is a little embarrassing to share that we make so much yet have little cash.

In properties with a high degree of deferred maintenance and / or structural issues, making a realistic offer should be considered without concern to the agents level of embarrassment of the offer.
