I don't know where the property you are considering is located, but a property I am in the process of listing in Normal Heights is actually a perfect example of the price discrepancy.  

You mentioned this discrepancy between owning the property and being responsible for the loan.I am asking in regards to the following context:If I purchase a property in my own name and then deed it to an LLC that has an additional member with ownership, does responsibility for the loan get passed on to them?

The financial company on record has paid taxes on it up until 2 years ago.. see the discrepancy? 

I may have to make up that discrepancy before I can refinance.

@Jeremy Stanfield this was through MLS - offered and accepted within 24hrs of listing so nobody else had a chance to recognize the sqft discrepancy.

We've found all manner of discrepancies in P&L statements, rent rolls, and the subsequent NOI, but rather than managing for a number, can I recommend you concentrate on the value add you'll bring to the deal?  

To complicate things further The capital discrepancy will get skewed even further as the property needs some renovations.

This is no knock against all the great architectural designers out there, many of whom we work with and have great relationships with, but we have found there can be discrepancies between architects and GC's when it comes to analyzing construction pricing. 

If you look at my post count to the left, and compare it with the below, I think you will see the discrepancy quite quickly. :) Other dude started the company page, great, but I think we both know who is the effective "representative" of the company on BP. 

When the discrepancy was brought to light, it wrecked the developer's pro-forma.
