I hate to buy for appreciation only, as then every maintenance issue and catastrophic issue (Collapsed Sewer Line, Air Conditioner, etc.) has to come out from your own pocket and not the investment.

You or your property manager shows up to the house on a Monday morning and you find that all the copper was stripped out of it over the weekend including the air conditioner.

Always a good idea to bring in a mold remediation company so that it is corrected professionally.On another note, because they do not run the air conditioner, this is a perfect breeding ground here in Florida for mold to grow, good or bad You say that you are an inspector , I would have thought you would know how to handle this situation .

This afternoon I also asked the contractor if he had any ideas and whether space heaters would be feasible, and he said each bedroom is already wired and equipped to take its own air conditioner in the summertime and can take its own electric heater in the winter and recommended electric base board heaters.

The Home Invasion Couple from Hell - even though I have made it very clear that if you smoke, you should not book my room, guests do it making for a very awkward and uncomfortable situation, as they attempt to hide their smoking throughout their stay up to and including smoking by an open window while the room air conditioner is running.This couple also left beer cans throughout my home, presumably when they finished chugging them and crushing the cans on their foreheads.
