Does anyone have a good inspector recommendation in Chicago northwest suburb ?

Given that my unit is sandwiched between two others, could this be a structural issue affecting the whole building?

@Jaycee Greene Yeah it is easy for one to get discouraged when buying this type of project but I must say they are decent when trying to start low and build capital, that way you dont have to deal with **** properties or mediocre neighborhoods again. 

Get your basic estate docs in place before building a complex entity structure.  

About to close on a 10+unit apartment building and my wife and I would like to self-manage as much as possible, as I am local. 

I'm currently planning to purchase a commercial multifamily building in Chicago with the proceeds of a 1031 exchange.

Ok, so I see this might have been a design flaw in the original build so there isn't much you can do unless you rip it all out.You could have it all scoped and see what's what so you can get an idea of what you are dealing with.You could comp the guests a night.
