Realtor, general contractor, plumber, electrician, landscaper, bookkeeper, accountant - maybe you are some of those - but you probably aren't all of them.  

Bookkeeping software ? 

It takes me about 20 minutes a month to send out all the chase quikpays and do bookkeeping. 

Remember you need to maintain each entity separately to truly get the protection (i.e. separate record and bookkeeping, separate checking accounts, etc.)

I guess my initial question is more along the lines of software for book keeping. i.e expense reports for individual houses, business expenses as a whole etc.

I have 3 properties in one LLC 100% owned by me, and 4 in another with 50/50 partnership with my brother.That said, I feel I need to get my bookkeeping in order if I want to grow.  

It's a bookkeeping nightmare, but that's what the IRS wants.

Just make sure you have good bookkeeping and track the P&L of each company.
