Luckily I think the only contractor complaint was from the adult sister of a neighbor, once, lol.

I was trying to get them to move out by August as I didn't want to go through the eviction process and I didn't think they would have rent by the first so I thought we could all be adults and come to some reasonable agreement.

A lot of the 'adults' the baby boomers are passing their homes to can't afford another house or don't know how to invest/rent it out. 

I grew up in Southern California (mostly Encinitas) and I've spent most of my adult life in Northern California.

I currently have a rental with 2 adults (husband and wife) on the lease.

Turns out the owner of the house passed away (has no wife) and has two adult children. 

That said, I always ask that dogs and children accompany the adult(s) to the showing.

No kids (since its over 55) Young adults will move in and out with the wind but over 55, they are there for a long while.
