It's not unreasonable to consider a wave of foreclosures if the gov does nothing to prevent/mitigate.

If I could wave a magic wand and create a bustling economy and jobs in every market, I absolutely would - but I don't have that and I don't think anyone else does either.

since this is a rental, i assume you're already bringing 20% to the table. see if they'll wave escrow, unless you need a nanny to make those tax/insurance payments for you.

Are you trying to ride out the wave or still able to find deals that are worthwhile?

I've very fimrly believed in the thesis that we have yet to be hit by the true force of the wave (the so called Silver Tsunami) incoming from the north.

I think we are due for a housing revolution and ADU's are just the first wave.

The previous owner raised the price on her rental by $100/mo when she painted the dark taupe that was super popular, but she missed the gray wave entirely and had to drop the price, just because her paint was outdated and make the whole place look tired.

., After having seen the first wave of ADU’s coming online near me, I’m convinced it’s not anything that’s going to make a dent on the housing problem in the Bay Area.
