That property was also supposed to be a few month flip, but I had to fire my contractor who I'd been working with on all my properties.

My team and I are traveling next week to meet contractors; look at land for hotel development on the beach side. 

Akron is not LL friendly, they were the first in NE Ohio to pass a rental registration ordinance (in the 90s), in 2021 added source of income as a protected class - so you can no longer rule out S8 applicants, and passed STR registration last October (and nearly a year later still haven't been able to enact anything).  

@Melissa Thompson I've never heard of this company but you should be able to verify wiring instructions over the phone and I'd never wire money to a different entity than the one on the contract, or anyone who I can't verify several different ways.

The deed, loan docs, registration all included my name, husbands name, and LLC. 

Now that I found out about my property I just had to take down from mls, I decided to bring that contractor through this one.

Bonus points if they can refer you to reputable contractors in the area.
