Shop Anderson, Marvin, Harvey.In properties I plan on keeping I use Anderson windows, their E series are very good and you can get them in custom sizes for older homes with various style grates and of course in wood.

Probably change the sink to a pedestal style or a small cabinet.

I absolutely love having a master key though, it is a huge hassle messing with the janitor style key rings that most PMs/landlords have.

I encourage you to look, but I would wager that you'll find 3-4 unit buildings and larger complexes to be more your style in and around Boston.
