I was thinking more about it and would definitely want some sort of experienced license contractor working on bigger projects(electrical ,plumbing, ect) but I know he does good work for installing carpets/tile and wood floors as well as bathrooms and kithen remodling.

You can try wrapping a chain around them and pulling them out with a truck, but bad things like flying wood taking out a truck window can result.Check with your city about whether or not gravel is allowed.

Personally I prefer a rosette as it adds a touch of class to the project.Trim wood is available at your local home supply store and a few will offer tips in completing the work.
