Bottom line is husband & wife and for 6 of the last 10 months rent was late (late enough to generate a late fee).

I would say keep them but try to get at the bottom of why they are always late. 

I turn it and it just turns and it is not the kind with the screw on the bottom end.Any tips on how to remove it?
