I just wanted to know if there are any contractors, rehabbers, or remodelers in the Milwaukee area looking for some extra help, that might be willing to train.Currently I work as a TIG welder, which has been great to me for pretty much my whole career seen high school.  

That knowledge can come from an attorney or other experienced investor.

If they are good at what they do then you will easily have the extra profit to pay them.

Since I have a little extra cash I thought I it would be a good idea to make it work for us.  

The purchase price is also the asking price, which means I could potentially ask less since it's been on the market so long.Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated in my quest for knowledge and education.

The loan was at 380k, punching that into a calc and looking at amortization shows that throughout the life of the loan we would have spent 275k on interest alone to get an extra ~4500/year back on the taxes... it seemed like that small return was outweighed by 1. not having an 2000/mo payment, 2. not paying the extra 275k in interest 3. peace of mind of not ever having to worry about having a roof over our heads.So, I know you are probably going to look at this and tell me that I sound contradictory or it doesn't make sense to want tax write offs but then give up the best/easiest tax write off available to "most" people.

My mortgage broker said that it can't be financed with a trailer on it (this confuses me as the extra 200 bucks is more money for the mortgage payments).

If I could live where I want and still get some extra investment revenue that is AWESOME.
