Actually, you're probably better off Not talking to the bank, as your name will be in the file and in a couple of weeks when the purchase agreement and short sale package are submitted.....the fact that your name as the buyer matches the previous inquiry/authorization, the bank will be justifiably concerned the property didn't truly get full market exposure.
