If you go with a single family house and opt to rent out a room, for one, you can't really expect to charge someone the same amount to rent out a bedroom as you could to let them rent out a side on a duplex, and two, you have diminished privacy.

However, you could opt for a commercial loan to get the income valuation if you put your property in an LLC and don't mind a little interest rate risk.  

@Julie McCoyI know its not any RE agents preferred method but I was taught that professionial associations are there to protect and service the consumer communities they serve.

They videoed the line and suggested a Nuflow coating after hydrojetting the line. the cost for this project was bid at around 10K.We opted for quarterly snaking the line instead at around $120.00 per time..we figured it will be more cost effective....Hope this helps.

If someone chooses not to use us while a tenant is in place, we opt to stop handling the Property mgmt at that time, since other agents cause a lot of extra work for us asking for showings, updates, repairs, etc which we would need to help facilitate. 

As many said becoming a Realtor is time-consuming and expensive but if you need the knowledge it could be a good idea.
