Hello all,I have a question about taxes on a property you sell in a different state.

All the metrics support continued growth in the state.

I had negotiated a substitution of collateral clause in the purchase agreement, that stated I could substitute a note that (1) yielded the same or more and (2) carried the same or less risk.  

I have been in the mortgage business since 2003 and these same words and phrases that are stated above will always cause some folks to think now it not a good time to buy.

One thing I would do is have writing in the purchase contract or an outside contract stating who will get what revenue, that way they can't flip on you and take all the money you though you were getting from the transition period.
