This might also scare away some tenants’ landlords from suing you if public records show that there is no equity...So when your family member gets a judgment against them and the creditor attempts to levy on the mortgage payment you'll have to explain there really isn't a mortgage and you really don't owe your family member any money?

Two other surveyors had been contracted to perform surveys for separate owners which they did and they were 'good', but if you attempted to perpetuate their survey information into the remainder of the block you ended up with homes that were splitting lot lines and encroaching into City owned ROW ect. and the two survey's would never match up lot lines ect.
