We determined that the wiring from the panel box in the backyard through the attic to the front of the house where the dryer is located had the wrong gauge wire it was burning up the wire and popping the breaker the breaker was also not the right amperage.

I am not a plumber or inspector ...But when I have had gas service installed into property that previously had no gas, before the gas company will install the meter they demand that a plumber perform a pressure test of the system to assure there are no leaks.
