Things such as neutral paint throughout, light fixtures, laminate countertops, no carpets, paint cabinets and change hardware, stainless appliances(if you supply them) and landscaping.  

I've been scouring Trulia but not sure of the areas that are decent but not overpriced.He's able to do some of the work like painting and general maintenance but not looking for something that needs extensive work.Thanks in advance for any leads!

It is a 3 bedroom brick house and I am paying about 30k, it could sell from at least 70k move in ready, and its in pretty good shape - needs flooring (5k), paint (2k), new kitchen (5k), new bathrooms (4k), new windows (8k) - rough numbers togive an idea of the scope of the project.Now there's the concrete...

My personal skills/time can handle a paint/carpet/landscape fixer, nothing more.

Sometimes my consideration is mostly in the form of work - clean up and painting, but no major reno.  

I now tell our inspectors to Test for Lead in Paint or in Water ,Absestos in floors and Ceilings,Radon and mold we do standard Water quality tests from any place a human or pet might drink water from.

Plumbing is done, electrical done, painting close to done.

Most of the work will be interior paint, installing flooring, trim, cabinets, toilets, and fixtures.
