For those of you who have had this installed in your rentals, how has it stood the test of time?

There are a couple of ways to tell but the easiest way is to go into your computer's control panel and sort the list of programs by date having the most recent programs installed on the top then look at the dates to see if anything new was installed on your computer. 

Does any one have idea how much it costs to have individual water lines and installing brand new gas lines?

I've always wondered how builders protect their product during build outs, especially once HVAC is installed, interior finishes are in progress, etc. 

In my case we didn't actually raise the roof itself, we just removed the ceiling joists, adding insulation in between the roof joists, and installed drywall.

If it is well water, you may need to install some additional water treatment to get rid of it. 

Unless the property is a top end then I would not install more gizmos.I find this is true with appliances too the more electronics the more likely it will turn into a service call.

Being a late 80s build, I know it's probably not load bearing but I really don't want to open that can of worms.Going to frame it up nicely and will price out some new brick veneer installation.
