I love this site, but I think it promotes the idea that real estate done right is a sexy proposition -- owner financing, BRRR, off-market deals, blah blah blah.In reality, it's quite simple.

What business do you think is missing in this industry?

I'll just throw out the idea of rent-by-the-room house hacking. 

I've started looking at Columbus because my business partners have found success doing Mid Term Rentals there and the returns are solid.

This is located in oak harbor WA on Whidbey Island if that is pertinent for calculating a deduction just a general idea would give me a huge help at least would be a starting point the rent is higher than a lot of similar apartments however as I stated it's on property but the lack of kitchen almost cancels out the benefit of the setting.

There are many syndicators that had built a reputation for having executed business plans, very communicative, and accountable.  

2-4 unit is probably better than roommate hacking due to separation of "friends" from business.
