I think in the next 10 years my block has a lot of potential to see considerable development. 

The west side is seeing a lot of improvement as is Bergen Lafayette but try to stay within a couple of blocks of the light rail.

One will have neighbors and one will be the only house on the block 

I started a business five years ago a block away from the building I’m trying to purchase now, and it took double the money and double the time I had budgeted for and this was extremely stressful, so I’m trying to stay focused on the possible issues that would take us off track.

But just like all cities there are Hoods that command more money than others and in the central close in Portland they can change by block..

In college they’d throw your wet clothes on the floor, in your basket or on top of another machine if you were blocking a washer.

The seller lives in part of the home and blocked off the other part that's has damage. 

But I realize it will take a lot of work, practice and persistence as well as overcoming mental blocks.

I bought a house and didn't realize there was a homeless shelter about 6 blocks away.
