In my opinion, the current crisis may actually make it easier to find tenants for a house hack.

Louis.The headlines are screaming about a looming eviction crisis, and I'm curious the impact this may potentially have on prices from a buyer perspective.

Don't get me wrong, was great city to invest in (I'm a huge fan of the economic diversity in the Metro), however, both Minneapolis and Saint Paul are starting to put in regulations on tenant screening that are concerning to me.

I've had no issue filling my vacant units and rentals are always in demand especially in an economic downturn. 

The stress of work uncertanity, stay in place orders and the constant media on the health crisis has left most of the tenants I manage for REMAX and personally stressed, upset with their too close neighbors in duplexes and calling me constantly to mediate disputes.   

And I expect that we will catch and appreciation bid as out of state money moves in here to take advantage of it as a viable investment as other investment opportunities dry up in an increasingly bleak economic future.

On the other hand if you are in a municipality that has a terrible track record with blindly siding with tenants in a time of crisis, I’d prefer to leave the unfriendly jurisdiction.
