heres my situation:im in the air force and receive about 1600 a month right now with basically no overhead. its likely that i wont be stationed in one place more than 2 years. however ive been thinking that it seems like a good idea to purchase a home where i am stationed and then rent it out to either other airmen or anyone. and when and if i get stationed elsewhere, i can sell the house or keep it as a rental. of course i plan to aggressively find an investment property below market value that will generate cash flow. also i can use this propertys equity to finance another home and etc. does this sound like a workable plan.... thanks

I had one done last year buying a radio station with towers/land involved as part of the due deligence,,the company I hired had someone come out and do the test for about $2k, there are different levels of testing,

Hey BP Locals, I'm currently stationed at Ft campbell Ky and will be getting out of the Army in 2 years and wanting to move to Chattanooga.

How about those who check to see if the property you are purchasing might have some environmental hazards/ chemicals or might have been built on some old dumpster/gas station?

Small money maybe for an established person but crushing for a newbie.Fast forward to now and you could probably qualify for a trip to the International Space Station more easily than you will get a signed lease out of me.
