I am currently with AAA and they are getting expensive (for some reason rates are up in Indy) so I may need to start shopping.

The latter seems like it could be a smart start in an expensive DC / Northern VA market.

You are obviously smart enough to know that you can "back into" your #'s using mortgage calculators to determine your rates.

I want to form a company that manages our assets or we would form a company and buy our own homes. we could merge many daily activities like grocery shopping and squeeze more savings from buying  together and turn saving into investment dollars.

We're currently shopping for a buyer for our building near Japan town at 710 N 2nd St. off-market. 

Agent was smart in listing at lowball price in an area w/comps in 225k range then asking for H & B within 4 days.  

Once I get the 203k Prequalification, am I free to go shopping?

I know mist big box shops only allow you to go so low anyway, so most won't allow it..

I am currently shopping the market trying to find a primary residence that is a great deal for when I become stationed at Goodfellow, AFB. 

Now, I've only been in "the game" for a few months, and have nothing more to show than some book smarts and a lot of "no's" from the leads I've come across.
