That seems a gross oversimplification that can result in bad returns.I've personally invested in some low cost markets that gave me great cash flow and above average appreciation.

It seems like you'd have enough cash and equity to move on to your next property, so I don't think it would hurt you to start searching for the next one.

Seems like the better plan would be to go to the city council meeting and prove to them that you are not running a STR.
