@John MillsFurther, properties with an ARV of $200k, needing only $15K of work, don’t sell for $100k, they sell in the $140k+ range.

@Mark De sagunsince your end game is making $4k a month to travel,130k in starting capital will get you five houses in 100k price range in mid south and mid west. probably $200 a door.

Was looking for any recos from experience in Houston and surrounding areas (Spring, Woodlands, Katy, Conroe, or any others) for apartment investing, as well as property managers in the area (ideally dealing with buildings up to 100 unit range, but am of course open to those with higher experience since I will most likely syndicate).

While the triplex is currently fully rented out, grossing $1,725 per month in rent, we would be looking to occupy one of the units for at least 1 year, primarily as a way to reduce our down payment from 25% to the 10% range and keep more available capital on hand.
