They should be able to tell you if any other regulator types are involved in inspections of rental properties, like the Fire Department or Health Department, never know who is looking out for the public welfare with a hand out for some fee.Starting off, go to your public defender's office or legal aid office, inquire about services they provide for tenants and get any Tenant's Rights pamphlets they may hand out, this is a mission into enemy territory of sorts, but knowing what legal services might be available to your tenants can be very interesting.

The agent told me that they cannot give me a multi-policy discount because my 11+ policies (properties, cars, umbrella, etc.) are in CA.Now I am facing the dilemma: - should I look for another insurance provider just for that property in OH, or- should I look for another insurance provider to replace ALL of policies since the effort would be practically the same.What would you do in my case?

So for comparison sake, lets just say I could get it for $212k and just wash on the deal.The cabin:Grossed 32kAfter all expenses it netted $17k last year.The duplex:Will gross $21k this year.After expenses will net around $17k (I do all repairs and management, so I just deducted $1000 water bill and $3000 for misc repairs that may arrise)Soooooo theres the dilemma.
