The rehab was pretty easy and inexpensive, just many many hours of time in. 

HVAC, Roof, Plumbing, Electrical......durable easy to replace flooring.

Maybe the videos being up longer helps the criminal case or class action somehow, more evidence or something, who knows?

I'm going to assume a majority of them came from the "gurus" boot camps and bus tours , since wholesaling is being promoted as "easy money". 

Evidently spreadsheets aren't sexy, but his business is one I'd love to model, and it's refreshing to hear from someone whose philosophy runs contrary to the consumerist junk they push on HGTV.

I actually talked to them 8 or 9 years ago they had an office in Scottsdale.. they were good.. but to easy to approve a complicated transaction.. and then wanted 10k up front..

Would I have the necessary evidence to do a 1031 exchange?

It's easy for me to say since I am not in your position, but I suggest voting with your feet.  

Anything that gives you easy info as valuable as this of course for a fee, is mostly a hoax in these instances it seems.
