The entire purpose of the HUD policy is to put a stop to the fraud being perpetrated by corrupt appraisers in cahoots with investors who would over-value a property to commit fraud against buyers and banks.

I am about a week away now from refinancing that one and looks like I will have an extra $6,000 out with a 70% loan to value and cash flow about $250 on a 15 year note.I like the idea of the quicker cash with a flip but can't seem to bring myself to commit to it when I see the long term potential.
