As others have said, one investor trying to change an area's image can be very difficult unless you have unlimited funds.Early on in my real estate investing, I bought a bunch of properties in a town called Miller Beach, Indiana.

We went to weddings, birthday parties etc over the years here.  

The GroundFloor guys they have a bunch of small dollar investors in the deal so if they do in fact lose no one gets hit hard.. they just get their image marred.It will be interesting to see how the other two investors make out.. 

The spring is dead, only a few guests here and there (mid April till the beginning of June) From June-September or even October depending on weather, we have a lot of guests that come for the mountain biking, vacation or weddings, or bachelor parties.

We arnt married we are postponing our wedding untill we have enough to buy the duplex. been together for 4 years so we are pretty sure. she doesn't live with me due to cultural differences she has to stay living with family untill she is married. so it's only me being subjected to this mess.

It's so sad to see so many people who have great potential, but they don't act on it because they're afraid of embarrassment or how their personal image is seen from others. 

Maybe being close to the cities will have a higher occupancy rate for people staying for events like weddings though.

lol with real estate, I am always working... even when I was in my honey moon away in the mountains(I was in the middle of a deal, my new husband had to drive me around to find internet and cell phone receptions) He has planed our honeymoon months before the wedding but he changed the honeymoon plan so I can have my deal.
