If that doesn't work:Find a piece of square stock and have it machined to fit new glass handles you can buy like in the above post. lf the lock works you can salvage it fairly easily.

The motor is out in our rental washing machine, to save us the back and forth we are leaning towards replacing the entire unit but in the mean time do leave it up to our tenant to figure out how to wash her clothes, do we reimburse her for money spent at laundry mat?

We replaced roof, improved master suite with walk in closets, ripped all the paneling down, replaced with drywall, painted the whole inside of the house, white washed the brick fireplace, placed LVP flooring throughout the house, replaced counter-tops in kitchen and replaced vanities in bathrooms.
