By changing the layout to an open layout it provides a startling and beautiful view that everyone who sees it.. loves it.

Some folks talk about house-hacking (which, again, I fell into by accident myself) and lay out these crazy inconvenient things like turning a living room sofa into their bedroom and renting out the rest of the house.

Not ideal... but this kitchen was a real bear to lay out...

Still getting used to the BP layout/functions.

We called it "The Warehouse" because it is gigantic and has a weird layout, with kind of another unit, a huge garage and some mystery tunnels/storm shelters as an added bonus.

So, while it makes intuitive sense to go for more bathrooms, if possible, in practice, my experience says that there is little or no difference - in MY particular market anyway.

They're stacked and just physically difficult to get into and out of the laundry room due to the layout.

Kitchen design features top of the line materials with stainless steel appliances, the layout and look are spectacular but practical with plenty of storage and counter space.

Great points, that's one of the reasons why I want to build...to get a good layout.
