Now, I am looking to just have his lease run its course and then tell the tenant that I do not want to extend the lease to him.I would appreciate your comments especially if you had this happen to you - how do I get rid of him?

But do not collect partial rent; again, while you deserve to be paid, you will only be extending this situation.If it were me, I would get the phone number and name for someone at the Housing Assistance Office and provide it to them on the 13th along with two options:  leave in 10 days and I'll pay you to do that - or eviction will be filed tomorrow.  

Point their attention to each of the areas, and let them know you aren't releasing final payment until the work is finished properly. 

In my research, I read that a sponsor using a broker dealer can extend their "private relationship" network to those that the broker dealer has relationships with.We haven't used broker dealers so far and I'm not sure if we will.

Also, if there is a bid within a certain amount of time before the end of the auction, the platform will also extend the auction ... obviously to encourage more bids.

And I believe, just like in the last recession, they have extended unemployment benefits to help offset the harsh economy, but what happens when they let that extension expire. 

As you probably know the govorner of VA has decided to extend the eviction moratorium. 

Also Real Estate is a very forgiving asset class as long as you have some reserves and don't over extend yourself.
