Also depends on how/why he left and his general demenor.if he is an angry guy who yellsa nd shouts and treated your property like crap he may not mind coming back for a second round with a bat.If he is older or more laid back then sure - go for it.MikeOH is right on but I would add in some psycholoy to it - when you push a tenant who is gone your risking damage to your asset.I have done it both ways and been fine - but as always need to balance out the risk
