Hopefully it would take off and pay for itself, but it's hard to take that big of a plunge without being able to "test the waters" first.

I tried calling the Water Company to see if they can provide a list of addresses with the water shut off and nope!

Currently, the owner pays for hot water and heating.

By unfinished I'm talking about no running water, no range oven in kitchen, and some wiring in the newly renovated bathroom.

.- Tenant agrees to keep the property at a reasonable temperature, leave water connected and leave refrigerator on / cooling.- Tenant pays 1 months rent as a releasing fee.

I have isolated all the water lines for my units but haven't figured out if I should call the water company and have them sell me water meters or if there is a water meter I can buy online that possibly hooks up to wifi to report usage.

The costs involved to fix this situation included mold remediation, potentially replacing some of the water damaged studs/joists, and replacing the drywall.
