The good news is that very few students actually pay "full freight" so those scary tuition numbers are misleading.Using short-term mortgages actually doesn't make as much sense as you might think.

Which is wonderful news, because if it was this easy and automate-able, then wall-street would simply buy the top 10 in every market in America perpetually and you and I would have no opportunity.  

The ones that make it to the news are the "Person won property from tax lien after honest farmer forgot to pay taxes".

Great news is there is a new program out now where your 3.5% down payment will be covered by a grant even if you purchase a 2 unit and there is no catch and no income limit. 

You could follow corporate news and see where big business is putting in their next big location.
