Not the distributions...generally...If it's not a partnership and your SDIRA isn't issued a K-1 (e.g. it is some kind of foreign partnership, foreign corp, etc), you should direct your initial third paragraph in your OP to your tax professional as foreign filing obligations as they relate to the US can get quite complicated and are heavily based on your individual facts and circumstances, as well as tax treaties between nations.

I am not yet accredited with a NW of $1 million(conservatively I am probably 3-4 yrs away from achieving that milestone), and the alternate  avenue to be accredited(2 yrs of income above $200k) wouldn't work for me since my tax return makes it look like I earn substantially less than I do due to the foreign earned income exclusion.

@Raymond Williams, if your out-of-state LLC will be doing business in Maryland, the State of Maryland will want it to register as a Foreign LLC and file an annual Personal Property Tax Return.

Maybe all in the year of the purchase (expenses), maybe spread out over multiple years (capital purchases.)If the C-corp did trading (I assume you mean stocks or currency or some other financial instrument), I'm not sure if they can claim the re-invested money was a deduction or not.
