And unlike a wholesaler that should be able to figure out within a week if the deal will sell or not and either renegotiate or get out of it, the retail financed buyer can have this easily drag out for 30+ days before getting denied. 

Lastly even if said recipient is a little savy and waits for the account to post on their credit and then say tries to contact the credit card companies they will undoubtedly be denied access to any pertinent information if they cannot verify the primary account holders private information.
