If you are looking into land deals for other states I would suggest narrowing down your search for certain cities and put the location of your question in those.

But there were 2 things that made me wonder if it would work:- Lot might be too small.

If you're not yet decided on a market you'd like to invest in I'd suggesting starting there.

If you have the ability to target a specific purchase price, I suggest staying in the $250k-$1m range.

I wonder that anybody from out-of-state investing in the KC area want to turn their traditional rental properties into short-term rentals?
