new to investing my location is Dallas/Fort Worth and looking for help full tips I have read rich dad poor dad I am now reading David Greene's book Brrrr method. eager for first property.

I fought this year and got it lowered to $60,000.My personal house in Dallas I think is way overvalued by tax district and they didn't give me time of day.Both said pictures are worth $1000 words...so not only taking printed comps, but taking pictures of damage/condition/and how bad it is....can help.Here in Texas you can also get something directly from the district called a RUN sheet. 

my thoughts were to run a family vacation to dallas over thanksgiving and use this time to do some driving around the area to familiarize myself with the properties etc and get to know the mentors team etc.Just seeking some input as I look towards my first purchase.....it is that 90 day challenge time after all :)Bo 

Hello BP community,  I was hoping to hear from those who might have worked with American Real Estate Investments for Turnkey properties in Dallas or elsewhere. 

I do know a few people  who have moved to Dallas. 

Holly, Kings Mountain, Shelby, Bessemer City, Lowell, Dallas, etc) generally treating your rentals?  

On closing - I'm new to Dallas and setting up meetings with RMLOs over the next couple weeks, but there is a BP meetup next Tuesday in the Events section that is usually well attended.
