For example, would it be better to market to friends or venture into marketing to "strangers"? 

Now I am wondering if the better idea would be to buy 100 Multifamily units with 3-4 joint venture partners for buy and hold. 

The cash flow is great but this is a for the future venture for me and not my primary job so the cash flow is not critical at this point.  

Would I be building true freedom or would it be an attention hungry venture forever?

Typically when we partner with people we joint venture and sign a profit-sharing agreement.

My wife and I are putting together a business plan for a real estate business, mainly rentals, but may do a few flips, who knows where it will take us.Her brother and possibly her other brother is interested in a joint venture.

@Jobin Thomas We typically provide a proof of funds to our joint venture partners when purchasing a deal. 

I still contribute to IRAs and my real estate ventures, the only thing that has changed over the last decade is that I've shifted real estate to be more of a priority.

I am here to learn, network and I'm open to advice that'll help my future as i venture in this new field.
