It's only 25 minutes to Lansing, so it may be a cheaper rental solution for people living in Lansing.Don't really know either market, so recommend you compare average rents to determine how likely it is someone would commute.

There shouldn't be a shortage of people who have money and need a place to live. 

Even when you exclude the ones who are simply renting out their own spaces - second homes, pre-existing ADUs, spare bedrooms, or their RVs, the number of people that started with less than we have is likely still significant.

Complex setups don't offer much protection for most people.
