The economy is lagging there and real estate is under pressure.

or something like that - been in 5 years, looks good.It has 'cupped' - the installers did not gap the boards, so when they expand, the pressure makes them cup.I've heard/read that you need  your supports closer together for composite decking, 12" vs. 18" ?  

I also found that listing a rental the first weekend of the month gets wishy-washy people, they still have a month to go and aren't feeling pressure to decide yet.  

Same for Dorchester.Of course, if Amazon HQ2 lands in Boston with 50,000 jobs, that's going to put a lot of pressure on housing.

If it overheated , has anyone looked at the heater since then , the pressure relief valve may have gone off and there could be a mess by the heater .  

I have a 4plex where two of the existing wall mount mailboxes need replacing.I can't find matching ones so I am going to replace all four.I see some lockable aluminum mailboxes that seems nice but wondering if it's worth the hassle of having to maintain mailbox keys. 

So I'm working on the funding.Some areas that are appealing are Yonkers and Mount Vernon because of the inventory and relative lower cost. 

There are also so many variables to consider when investing in just single family homes including the market pressures and expectations, the tenant base, the neighborhood.

I tried as best as I could as a new investor but without adequate knowledge I had to learn the hard way.Jason Hartman provides a helpful feature where you get paired with an investment adviser/counselor  who can give you tips and put pressure on the providers if there is a problem.

Current plan is to mount outside on a wall off the balcony that faces an alley.Appreciate any insights you all can offer!
