I remember seeing a rule about chasing mentors. 

Hi,There is this Sourcing seminar near me, it sounds good because its a small group  of people only and the mentor told me he will also sit with me to figure out how I can start sourcing deals since I am VERY LOST on how to start with Real Estate.

I would like to know if there are any experienced local investors or mentors there that I could link in with.

The courses required to achieve this designation are brutal, and the experience requirements ensure a good amount of "hands on" experience.Perhaps the key to any "mentor", is the ability, and willingness to communicate well.

I always tell folks, when asked about my 'profession', that I operate a real estate investment company as well as an inner-city based youth mentoring organization.

I felt like I was in way over my head- fortunately I had a mentor to re-assure me.The only thing I would add by way of advice is "paper is your friend."

I am looking for more information from former or current students of Phil Pustejovsky. I have gone through the "interview" process but was not able to get enough answers to make an educated decision. 

I am a real estate investment rookie learning the ropes by a mentor friend who is pretty successful at this in Grand Rapids, MI.
