However, no reason to involve CPS here.Well there is no reason for the OP to involve CPS....but when I did some searches about this topic, there were stories of neighbors that saw a young 16 y.o. girl at home all day with a baby or young child and the nosy/concerned neighbor called the authorities.In at least one of the cases I read about, the mother (who was at work) was actually cited by the police for child endangerment.

Not so worried about catching while act is happening as police dont generally get there that fast but would like to be able to track the person/crook down after the fact.
